As of April 2007, Thomas and Lerena (Reenie) Kolstad and family have purchased the Funeral Home and changed the name to Kolstad Family Funeral Home. The Funeral Home Director, Tom Kolstad has been Manager and Co-Owner of the Funeral Home for many years and he and Reenie have been serving Centuria, Balsam Lake, Milltown, Luck, Frederic, St. Croix Falls and all the surrounding area for more than a combined 40 plus years, providing, professional, courteous and meaningful funeral services.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home has been completely remodeled since the purchase by the Kolstad Family. It now boasts generous size in the funeral/visitation chapel, foyer entry, arrangement/conference room/refreshment lounge/fellowship room, handicapped accessible restrooms and new cloak room. Each room has been tastefully redecorated and elegantly furnished with new furniture. The original hardwood floors have been refinished leaving a warm and inviting feeling.
