Christian James Hickman

Christian James Hickman “Niigaanigaabow”, 30, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Hennepin County Healthcare in Minneapolis.  Christian was born on July 30, 1992.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Milo, Jim, and Laura, his mother, Crystal Hickman, and a special aunt, Carolyn Buck.

He is survived by his father, Chris Merrill, children, Christian Hickman Jr, Kendrick Christopher Hickman, and Caden Hickman, grandmother, Cynthia Downwind, siblings, Alyssa, Ryder, Avery, Michael, Cash, Chris Jr, Myla, Alize, and Loralee, grandma, Donna Merrill, papa, Manley Williams, numerous, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Ceremonies will be held at the Round Lake Community Center beginning at 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 10, 2023, and continue until completion on Saturday.

He will be laid to rest at the Johnstown Township Cemetery, Round Lake.  Casket-Bearers will be Berwin Badhorse, Rodney Jacobson, Bryce Duncan, Tyrone Awonohopay Sr, Tyler Buck Jr, and Joseph Merrill.
