Alyce Marie (Durushia) Erickson

Alyce (Durushia) Erickson, 79, of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2020 surrounded by family after a long battle with dementia.   Alyce was born on June 9, 1941 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to John and Dorothy Durushia.

Don and Alyce were married on October 6, 1962.  Don lovingly took care of Alyce during her battle with dementia.

Alyce enjoyed traveling, tending to her flowers, spending time with her friends, family and especially her grandchildren.

Alyce leaves to celebrate her memory: husband, Donald E. Erickson, St. Croix Falls, WI; daughter, Kimberly (William) Rovney, Eagan, MN; son, Don Jon (Jennifer) Erickson, St. Croix Falls, WI; grandchildren, Thea Erickson (Drew)  and William “Aage” Rovney; siblings, Darlene Patterson, Ruth “Boots” Card, Joe (Elaine) Durushia, Bob (Dianne) Durushia, Cynthia Durushia; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Sharon) Erickson, nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothy Durushia, brothers, John Durushia and Larry Durushia, sisters, Lillian (Durushia) Kroupa and Renee (Durushia) Sorensen.

The family would like to thank Patty Nelson for her kindness and great care, St. Croix Hospice and the Kolstad Family Funeral Home.

A Family Service will be held from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. followed by a Public Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 3, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. at the Sandbur Station, 2551 290th Street, St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin  54024.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
