Carolyn Marie Christensen

Carolyn Marie Christensen, 86, of St. Paul, Minnesota passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021, at the Ramsey County Care Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was born on April 19, 1935, in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin to Clarence and Mary (Petersen) Christensen.

She attended school in St. Croix Falls and graduated in 1953. She accepted Christ as her Savior and was active in her church, teaching Sunday school, Bible school, and Awana. She also organized activities for the youth group.

She lived in St. Paul for most of her adult life and worked at various office jobs in the Twin Cities. In her younger years, she rode a bus back to her home in Wisconsin every weekend to help her parents. She played an active role in the lives of her nieces and nephews. She would babysit them in their younger years, take them shopping and go on vacations with them as they got older. She was known for giving the best presents for birthdays and Christmas. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity and will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Carolyn is survived by nephews, William Christensen, Richard (Shelly) Christensen, Robert (Coleen) Christensen, Lanny (Joyce Banks) Christensen, LeRoy (Jan) Christensen, Bruce (Julie) Christensen; nieces, Deborah (Jurgen) Mueller, Barbara (Dean) Rostad, Judy (Jack) Olsen and Jill (Steve) Smith and their families. She is also survived by many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Mary Christensen, and brothers, Ray (Marie) Christensen, Donald (Lucille) Christensen, and Ivan Christensen.

Services will be held at Redeemer Baptist Church in Oakdale, Minnesota on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. She is laid to rest at New Home Cemetery in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.
