Charles M. Peper

Charles M. Peper, 85 of Sand Lake, Wisconsin passed away on Monday, December 09, 2013 at the St. Croix Valley Good Samaritan Home.  Charles was born on March 14, 1928 in Centuria, Wisconsin the son of John G. and Tressy Peper.

He attended school in Centuria.  Charles worked his entire life as a dairy farmer which he truly enjoyed and loved. He farmed in Sand Lake and rural Centuria.  He was an active member of Bethesda Lutheran Church for over 60 years.  He married Annis M. Lindberg on June 14, 1949 and the couple worked together on the family farm for many many years.

Charles leaves to celebrate his memory: son, Michael (Cheryl) Peper, Centuria, WI; daughter, Cindy (Dale) Massey, Algoma, WI; Mary (Bill) Mitchell, Webb Lake, WI; sister, Rose Nelson, Rhinelander, WI; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, special nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John G. and (Tressy) Peper, his wife, Annis in 1995, brother, Loren, brother Eugene in infancy and his great grandchild Amelia.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 1100 A.M. at Bethesda Lutheran Church in rural Dresser, Wisconsin. Pastor Peter Rimmereid will officiate. Charles’ family will greet visitors at the church beginning at 10:00 A.M.  Charles will be laid to rest at Sand Lake Cemetery following the service.  The family would like to invite their guests to join them at the church for lunch and fellowship following the cemetery service.

Casket bearers will be Levi Massey, Jeff Peper, Dan Peper, Adam Peper, Dan Hooverman, and Tom Nelson.
