Charles Dean Vangsgard, 80, of Fridley, Minnesota passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at White Pine Assisted Living in Fridley. Charles was born on June 21, 1934 in Luck, Wisconsin the son of Arthur and Evelyn (Jensen) Vangsgard.
Charles leaves to celebrate his memory, son, Joel Vangsgard, Columbia Heights, MN; brother, Gerald E. (Rose Mary) Vangsgard, CA, nieces, Amy, Karen and Beth, several cousins and other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Evelyn Vangsgard and his son, Forest Nathan Vangsgard.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria. Charles’ family will greet visitors beginning at 10:00 A.M. Following the service he will be laid to rest at the West Denmark Cemetery, Luck, Wisconsin.
The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
