Clifford L. Ince

Clifford L. Ince, 91, of Centuria, Wisconsin passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at his home with his loving family at his side.  Clifford was born on July 22, 1927 in Prior Lake, Minnesota the son of Caroline and John Ince.

At an early age Clifford’s family moved to Polk County, Wisconsin where he remained, working and raising his family with his wife Madonna.  He was retired from the Milltown Township and farming.  He was an active member of the Milltown United V.F.W., enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Clifford leaves to celebrate his memory: wife, Madonna, children, Jeff  (Dianne) Ince, John Ince (Sara Anderson),  Carolyn “Sissy” (Vern) Swoboda, Jim Ince, Joe (Pam) Ince and Cathy Berends (Mark Holland), his grandchildren: Rich and Kerry Hager, Adam and Kelly Strapon, Heather Ince, Jody and Chad Gibson, Tiffany Ince, Ashley Ince (Cody Lamphere), Casey and Jake Ineichen, Bob and Jennifer Swoboda, Todd Swoboda (Ryan Timm), Jacque Ince, Hannah Ince, Jack Ince, Riley Berends, Ethan Berends and Andrew Berends, his great grandchildren: Maddy, Abby and Elly Hager, Chase, Blake and Dayne Loder, Liam Strapon, Logan and Kylie Gibson, brothers, Larry (Jean) Ince and Eugene (Betty) Ince and many other loving family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Caroline and John, his brother, Gerald, his sister Lois Marshall and daughter-in-law, Sharon Ince.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Balsam Lake, Wisconsin.  Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 9:30 A.M.

Clifford will be laid to rest at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Centuria.  Pallbearers will be Randy Freer, Farmer Freer, Marvin Sloper, Lester Sloper, Chad Glenna and Tony Glenna.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Red McCurdy, Larry McCurdy, Al Kastens, Gale Glenna and Bud Stromley.

Please join the family for a warm lunch and continued fellowship at the church following the cemetery service.
