Cynthia Lee (Bording) Gerving

Cynthia (Cindy) Gerving, of Osceola, Wis., passed away at her home with loving family at her side on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at the age of 55. Cindy was born in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, to Iola and Kenneth Bording, and grew up in the local area. She graduated from Unity High School in and worked at local businesses including Johnquist Family Kitchens in Baldwin; St. Croix Regional Medical Center, and most recently at Wisconsin Lighting in New Richmond. In 1990, Cindy married Kenneth Dahl; Ken passed away in 1998. In 2010 she married LeRoy Gerving. Cindy enjoyed deer and bird hunting with her dogs, fishing, camping and searching for agates. She liked traveling to South Dakota with her mom and sisters, and motorcycle trips with her husband. Cindy was an avid Packers and Badgers fan, and loved going to Packer games with LeRoy and with her sister, Sheri.

Cindy leaves to celebrate her memory: husband, LeRoy Gerving; Osceola; mother, Iola Bording, Luck; siblings Sheri (Wayne) Rud, East Farmington; Diane Rudesill (Rod Egge) Frederic; Kathleen (Glenn) Greener, Cumberland; Julie Gryphan, Luck; and Randy (Karen) Bording, Balsam Lake, WI; sister-in-law Ginger Bording, Grantsburg, and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Bording, and her brothers, Ricky, Mike, Steve, Jeff, and Dan.

A “Time of Remembrance and Sharing” will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 6:00 P.M. at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria. The family will be greeting guests beginning at 4:00 P.M. until the time of service.
