Delano Wenzel Johnson

Delano Wenzel Johnson, 86 of Taylors Falls, Minnesota passed away peacefully at Devine Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin on May 5 ^th , 2021.

Del was born in Chisago City on March 30 ^th , 1935 to parents Wallace and Jeanette Johnson.

Del graduated from Chisago City High School in 1953 and enlisted into the United States Marine Corps. with 13 other boys from his school at the same time proudly serving for 2 years.

Del married Carol Ledin upon completion of his service in the Marines and raised 3 boys and resided in Chisago City.

Del worked for United Electric working his way through the ranks to Outside Sales and retired from the Company in 1992 after 35 years of service.

Del was known by Family and Friends as the most kindhearted and friendliest man you could ever meet.

He leaves behind his Wife Carol Johnson and Sons Jerry, Brian preceded in death January 3 ^rd , 2003 and Tague Johnson along with 8 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.

Siblings (Diane) and Darrell Swanson, (Marilyn) and Mike Reisdorf, (Marlen) and Barb Johnson (Marty) and Bryan Sahr.

He will forever be remembered and missed.

A Celebration of life will be held at 356 Briar Lane, Taylors Falls, MN. 55084. at a later date with more information forthcoming

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
