Dorothea Mae (Losie) Sherwood

Dorothea Mae Sherwood, 93, of Frederic, WI and formerly of Arkansas passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021.  Dorothea was born on June 13, 1928, in Wichita, Kansas to Frederick A. and Marion E. (Whichcord) Losie.

Dorothea leaves to celebrate her memory: daughter, Kathy Hicks, Balsam Lake, WI; son, Jerry Sherwood, St. Paul, MN; grandchildren, Reagan (Randy), Matt (Erin) Andy (Michelle) Amy (Chad), Jon (Gina), Elizabeth (Praveen), 10 great-grandchildren, sister, D’lee (Charles) Ringling, many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gene Sherwood, granddaughter, Carly Hicks, daughter-in-law, Bev Sherwood and son-in-law, Gil Hicks and her brother.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Lutheran Church in Balsam Lake.  Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior.

Dorothea's smile and sense of humor will be missed by her family and friends.
