Dorothey Jane Bentley

Dorothey Jane Bentley, age 80 of Minnetonka, MN; passed away peacefully at home.  Dorothey was born on May 23, 1943, to Carl and Caroline Bentley.  She grew up on the family farm in Balsam Lake and graduated from Balsam Lake High School.  After graduating she moved to Minnesota where she spent 25 years working in Hopkins Nursing Home.  Then retired as a cashier from Rainbow Foods.

She is survived by her sister, Gena Mae (Jack) Nelson, sister-in-law, Jan Bentley, brothers, Chuck (NormaJean) Bentley and Terry Bentley, daughter, Jaime and granddaughter Hailey and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Caroline Bentley, and brother, Myles Bentley.

A private family celebration of Dorothey’s life will be held at a later date.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria is assisting the family with arrangements.
