Dorothy A. Ludack
July 20, 1932 — July 24, 2014
Dorothy Ann Ludack, 82, of Centuria, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Golden Age Manor in Amery. Dorothy was born on July 20, 1932 to Bruno and Agnes Ziolkowski in Ashland, Wisconsin.
She attended schools in Ashland and graduated from Ashland High School. She married Eugene Ludack on August 2, 1957 and moved to Centuria, Wisconsin where they raised three children. Dorothy was an active bowler and volunteered for many years for the Youth Sports Association. She loved to travel; she was a great cook and baker and knitted many things for her children and grand children. She will be dearly missed.
Dorothy leaves to celebrate her memory: husband, Eugene Ludack, Centuria, son, Mark (Patricia) Ludack, Oakdale, MN; daughter, Lynn (Lou) Henigin, White Bear Lake, MN; daughter, Kathryn Ludack (David Gee),Eau Claire, WI; grandchildren Erin (Shane) Schultz, Matthew and Ashley Ludack, Stephanie and Justin Henigin and Tyler Breault, brother, Ed (Pat) Ziolkowski, Cheyenne, WY, sister, Marjorie McManus, Eau Claire, WI; nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Agnes and Bruno Ziolkowski, brothers, Robert and Thomas Ziolkowski and her sister Patricia DeBriyn.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M.
A Memorial Mass will be delayed and held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Balsam Lake. The family will greet visitors at the church beginning at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. She will then be laid to rest at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Centuria. The family wishes to invite their guests to join them for lunch and fellowship at the church following the cemetery service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Arnell Memorial Humane Society of Polk County, Wisconsin. However the family wishes to invite their guests to bring a plant from their home for decoration and take it home following the service.
The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
