Elaine Idella Palmer, 91, of Luck, Wisconsin passed away on Friday, November 29, 2013 at her home in rural Luck. Elaine was born on July 1, 1922 in Spooner, Wisconsin the daughter of Edward and Idella (Davenport) Morey.
Elaine leaves to celebrate her memory: children, Richard (Gloria) Palmer, Marie (Howard) Nolte, Robert (Cherry) Palmer, Terry (Leann) Palmer, Douglas (Sue) Palmer and Shirley Jean Tustin, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant daughter, Carol Jean Palmer and brother Dane Morey.
Elaine was a bookkeeper for the family businesses and worked alongside her husband Howard for many years. She was an accomplished seamstress from wedding gowns to quilts; she loved gardening, singing, walking and spending time with her family and friends. She was deaconess for many years in the church.
Services will be held at the East Balsam Baptist Church on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. Elaine’s family will greet visitors at the church one hour prior to the service. The family would like to invite their guests to join them for lunch and fellowship at the church following the service.
The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
