Gaylie Elizabeth (Palmer) Paul

Gaylie Elizabeth Paul, 90 of Balsam Lake, Wisconsin went to meet her Savior and Lord on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. Her family can’t wait to see her again because of what Christ accomplished on the Cross. As the family looks forward to Easter and the celebration of Christ’s Resurrection they also look forward to seeing their mother again in her new resurrected body again soon.

She was born on February 12, 1930 to Ralph and Bessie (Stubbs) Palmer in Balsam Lake, Wisconsin. She completed High school in Balsam Lake. She went to Westmont College in Santa Barbara CA. She met her first husband, DeWayne Paul in Santa Barbara and they married at Westmount.  Gaylie was a retired teacher for San Bernardino California. She spent well over 33 years teaching FT and then another 14 as a substitute.  Her Hobbies were sharing Jesus with people and loving people.

She loved to share her love of Jesus with people. She introduced many to Christ and planted the seed of the Gospel of Christ for many others. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Highland, CA for many years and then became a member of Hope Baptist Church in Rice Lake, WI when she moved from California back to her home town of Balsam Lake where her loving brother Gordon and his family took great care her. In the memorial instruction book she wrote under special achievements: "I just tried to live for the Lord".

Gaylie is survived by her sons, Kray Paul and Keith Paul; granddaughter, Misty (Jeff) Robinson; great-grandchildren, Natalie and Kaden. Preceded in death by parents, Ralph and Bessie Palmer, her first husband DeWayne Paul in 1993; second husband Bruce Crittenden in 2007, siblings, Gordon, Myron, Ruth, Winton, Ken, Howard, Gerald and Jerome.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Grace Church in Osceola, Wisconsin at 11:00 A.M.  Gaylie's family will greet guests beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the church.

Instead of flowers please give to your favorite charity. Gaylie loved: The Salvation Army, Franklin Gramm's Ministry, and of course her main church's affiliation - The Southern Baptist Annie Armstrong Easter Fund that supports missionaries
