Gerald Rogers

Gerald Rogers, Giingaabow, 72, of the Round Lake Community, rural Luck, Wisconsin passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at his home with his loving family at his side.  Gerald was born in La Crosse, Wisconsin on August 2, 1945 the son of Sadie (Scottie) and John Rogers.

Gerald leaves to celebrate his memory: son, John M. Rogers, granddaughters, Cheona Miller-Rogers and Alaina Rogers, sisters, Gladys Rogers, Mary Bedausky, Nancy Bedausk and Marlene Merrill, nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.  He was preceded in death by: parents, John and Sadie Rogers, wife, Rosemary Mihallow, siblings, Delores Rogers, Patricia Free, Josephine Cadotte, Walter Rogers, Joseph Rogers, David Rogers, Benny Rogers, niece, Stacy Rogers, nephews, Terrance Rogers, Travis Buck, Wesley Rogers, Wendell Rogers, Richard Cobenais Jr. and William Rogers.

Gerald loved his family, friends and adventure.

The funeral service will be held at the Round Lake Community Center at 12 Noon on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 with David “Maabin” Merrill and Thomas Saros officiating.  Visitation will begin at 12 Noon on Monday, April 30, 2018 at the Round Lake Community Center and continue until the time of service.

He will be laid to rest at the Johnstown Township Cemetery in Round Lake following the service.  Pallbearers will be Brandon Merrill, John Merrill, Anthony Garcia, Thomas Fowler, Shane Gasper, Marino Kendall.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Patrick Fowler Jr., Ricky Mosay, Marrio Torres, Marcell Merrill, Jay Rogers, Carlos Mosay and Frank Merrill.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
