James Robert Briese

James Robert Briese, 71, of Cumberland, Wisconsin passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at the Divine Rehab and Nursing Complex in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.

He was an amazing person always willing to help anybody. He enjoyed spending time with his family. In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to the casino. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

He is survived his wife, Kathy Briese; 3 daughters, Gayle, Tammy Hartung (Greg), and Stephanie Selzler (Jason); 3 sons, Greg Briese, Brian Briese and James F Briese (Laura); 22 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; 4 brothers and 5 sisters.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Linda Briese, parents Robert and Betty Briese,  brother Dennis Briese,  sisters Crystal Briese and Kay Fish and a granddaughter Ariel Briese.

Services for James will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in McKinley, WI.  Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 12 Noon and continue until the time of services.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria have been entrusted with arrangements.
