Jean Ruth (Towers) Anderson

Jean Anderson, 93, of Balsam Lake, WI passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the Rice Lake Convalescent Center. Jean was born on January 30, 1919 in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin the daughter of John and Edith Towers.
Jean leaves to celebrate her memory: her children: Neil (Tonia) Anderson, Denver, CO; Scott (Candi) Anderson, Chippewa Falls, WI; Jay (Julie) Anderson, Wabasha, MN; Kristine (John) Deering, Birchwood, WI; her grandchildren: Curt, Keith, Fiona, Charlie, Joseph, Theodore, Alexander, Justin, Jared, Michelle, Tim and Mary, many great grandchildren, brother, Lee (Charlotte) Towers, many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Edith Towers, husband, James Anderson in 1995, sister, Edna Flottum and her grandson, Russell Deering.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, at 11:00 A.M. January 7, 2013 at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Balsam Lake. Father John Drummy will officiate.
The visitation for Jean will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 4:00 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria with a Rosary and Prayer Service. Then Jean’s family will be greeting visitors at the church on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
Jean will be laid to rest alongside her husband James following the Mass. The family wishes to invite their guests to return to the church and join them for fellowship and lunch after the cemetery service.
The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
