Jeffrey Allen Merrill

Jeffrey Allen Merrill, “Ogaamaabinens", 55, of Turtle Lake, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, July 2, 2022.  Jeff was born on April 1, 1967, the son of James and Ida Merrill.

Jeff attended and graduated from Unity High School.  He then enlisted in the United States Marines.  He worked for the St. Croix Tribe for many years and was currently the Sports Book Director for the St. Croix Tribe.  Seeing the sports book and wagering become a reality was his dream.  He enjoyed traveling and going on adventures, He always made time for his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them.  His big personality will be truly missed.

Jeff leaves to celebrate his memory, his children, Nolan, and Erin Merrill, his significant other, Maria Mayhew, siblings, Evelyn Jones, Patricia Merrill, Mary Kay Merrill, Kimberly Steers, Paula Merrill, Vivian Lowe, Georgia Cobenais, and many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents James and Ida Merrill and his sister, Carolyn Merrill.

Services for Jeff will be held at the Round Lake Community Center beginning at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, July 4, 2022, and continue through Tuesday, July 5 ^th .  He will be laid to rest at the Johnstown Township Cemetery.  Casketbearers will be Ryan Decorah, Ryan Otto, William Reynolds, Pat McCready, Alan Gabe Sr., Robert Lowe, Brandon Moore, Rodney Lowe, Butch Buck, and Scott Neva.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
