John M. Schutte

John M. Schutte, 74, of Eureka Township/Centuria, WI, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN with his loving wife Beverly at his side.  John was born on September 21, 1949, in Kansas City, Kansas.

John attended Polk County schools and graduated from St. Croix Falls High School.  He worked in heavy construction for many years.  He also worked on the family farm, milking cows, fieldwork, and, all farming duties. Working on the farm was his passion.

He enjoyed living in their country home, traveling to different places for meat raffles, and all the socializing that came with that.  He enjoyed camping in the past and he loved spending time with his family and friends.

John leaves to Celebrate and Cherish his memory: his wife, Bev Schutte, siblings: Mike (Patti) Woltz, Donny (Judy) Woltz, Bruce Woltz (Lori Ostby), Janice Woltz, Julie (Donny) Stark, Brian Woltz, Cathy (Darrin) Ellefson, many family members on Bev’s side, many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Jean.

A Celebration of Life/Visitation will be held at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria on Thursday, August 8th, 2024, from 4 PM – 7PM.
