Judy Marie (Patterson) Tourville

Judy Marie Tourville, 72 of Centuria, passed away at her home on Tuesday, October 15, 2019.  Judy Marie Patterson was born on April 16th, 1947 to Edwin and Leona Patterson in Stanton Township, St Croix County, WI.

Judy attended Unity School in Balsam Lake, WI. She graduated in 1965.  She met Robert Tourville, and they were married on October 2nd, 1965. Robert and Judy had 2 children, Sara born in 1972 and Ben born in 1976.

Judy worked at a few places throughout her lifetime. She started out at the St Croix Falls Hospital as a candy striper. She then went on to work at Alcan Manufacturing in Centuria, WI. Judy then worked at Nelson's Greenhouse near Balsam Lake, WI for awhile with her Dad, Edwin. Judy finished out her career at Polaris Industries, where she started working around 1992 and retired from in 2009 at the age of 62.

Judy enjoyed many things outdoors. She loved hunting and fishing with her husband, camping every summer with her family. She grew a large vegetable garden each summer, and enjoyed flowers. Judy enjoyed sewing and was very good at it. She also loved to feed and watch the many birds that would come to the picture window.  Robert and Judy celebrated 54 years of marriage. Most of all, Judy loved her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Judy was a devoted Wife, loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She will be deeply missed, and her memory will live on through her family and many friends.

Judy leaves to celebrate her memory: her husband, Robert Tourville, Centuria, daughter, Sara (Dewey) Nieman, St. Croix Falls, WI; son, Ben (Kathy) Tourville, Dresser, WI; grandchildren: Tony Nelson, Aiden Nieman, Alex Nieman, Tyler and Justin Tourville, Derek Tourville and Aubree Tourville, great grandchildren: Grayson Nelson, Cason Nelson and Averie Nelson, siblings, Greg (Kim) Patterson, Dan (Dee) Patterson, Faye (Richard) Tourville, Carmen Patterson, nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Leona Patterson and her brother, Jerry Patterson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Lutheran Church in Balsam Lake.  Judy’s family will greet visitors at the church beginning at 10:00 A.M.  Following the service please join the family for a warm lunch and continued fellowship in the church basement.
