Kenneth Wayne Johnson, 91, of Balsam Lake, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Willow Ridge in Amery, Wisconsin. Ken was born on August 29, 1933, in Uniontown, PA, the son of Glenn and Mary Johnson.
Born in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to Glen Johnson and Mary Elizabeth Johnson (Sumey) on August 29th, 1933, and passed away December 5th, 2024 in Amery, Wisconsin. He has lived in Balsam Lake, Wisconsin for 47 years.
Preceded in death by former spouse Heather, wife Ruth Ann, and son Patrick
Survived by sister Lurline Johnson, Daughter Kimie Aryai ( Kamran) grandchildren John Jay, Stephani, Michael, Bridgette Aryai, and great-grandson Ira Aryai. Son Christopher (Qiqi Ma) and grandchildren Eloise and Patrick Johnson. Son Jason (Melissa Hansen). Brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Charlotte Montag. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and beloved neighbors, friends, and co-workers.
Ken was a 10-year veteran of the United States Airforce. He served in the Korean War and later in England. Ken owned the successful business Brighter Building Maintenance in St. Paul and he served his clients well. Ken loved and served His Savior Jesus Christ. His goal in life was to tell others of the good news of salvation through Christ.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the First Baptist Church in Milltown, Wisconsin, on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by Military Honors and a luncheon in the fellowship hall.
The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
