Lorraine "Bunny" Marie (Archambeault) Jaros

Lorraine “Bunny” Marie Jaros, 72, of Superior, Wisconsin passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth with her loving husband at her side.

Bunny was born on Easter Sunday April 25, 1943 in Superior, Wisconsin the daughter of Lawrence and Lorraine (Vandela) Archambeault.  She received her education at St. Anthony Grade School, Cathedral High School and received at C.N.A degree from Superior Vocational School.  She married Anthony Jaros on October 26, 1963 in Superior, Wisconsin.

Bunny worked at Lang’s Café, the Belknap Lounge, Connolly’s Bakery, Family Living Services and Dove Home Care.  She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and St. Anthony’s Choir.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, family gatherings, needle-work, bingo, card games, fishing and spending time at her cabin.  She will be dearly missed.

Bunny leaves to celebrate her memory: husband, Anthony Jaros, Superior; son, John (Sharon) Jaros, Superior; daughter, Theresa (Sam) Hjort, Pine Springs, MN; grandchildren: Alicia Jaros, Erika Hjort and Soren Hjort, her mother, Lorraine M. Archambeault, sister, Beverly (John) Kimmes, brother, Michael (Terri) Archambeault, nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Archambeault and her brother, Lawrence Archambeault Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Superior on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 11:00 A.M.  Father Adam Laski will officiate the Mass.  Visitation will be held at the church beginning at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.   Bunny’s family would like to invite their guests to join them for lunch and fellowship at the church following the Mass.  Pallbearers will be Ryan Archambeault, Sam Hjort, John Kimmes, Dan Forseth, Deven Forseth and Soren Hjort.  Honorary Pallbearers will be The Card Club.

Bunny will be laid to rest at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Superior at a later date.
