Lucille "Lucy" K. Vink

Lucille “Lucy” Kundgunde Vink, 81, of Balsam Lake, Wisconsin passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016 at home. Lucy was born September 14, 1934, the daughter of Lawrence and Clara Roehl in Benton County, Minnesota on her family’s farm.

Lucille married Roger Vink on May 16, 1953. She worked in accounting for 35 years. She enjoyed baking, fishing, knitting, crocheting and spending time with her family.

Lucy leaves to celebrate her memory, children: Marshall (Joan) Vink, Michael Vink, Roger (Arlene) VInk, Lucinda Vink, Thomas (Linda) Vink and Timothy (Voni) Vink, fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren, brothers, Louis (Mary) Roehl, Cornelius (Laura) Roehl an Darrell (Carla) Roehl, nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roger in December of 2015; parents, Lawrence and Clara; sister, Henrietta; brothers, Alexander, Lawrence and Leonard.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria, Wisconsin on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 10:30 A.M.  Lucy’s family will greet visitors at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service.  Please join the family for lunch and continued visiting at McKenzie Lanes following the service.  She will be laid to rest at the Northern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery.
