Lyn L. Preble, 61, of Balsam Lake, Wisconsin, passed away in her home on July 20, 2106, with her loving family at her side. Lyn Anderson was born on November 29, 1954, in St. Paul, Minnesota, the daughter of Gerald W. and Ruthie-jane (Kirchoff) Anderson.
Lyn grew up in the Centerville area north of the Twin Cities and was a 1972 graduate of Mounds View High School.
Lyn loved Balsam Lake and always considered it home from the time she was a little girl spending summers at her grandparents' cabin. It was during those summers that she made many lifelong friends.

Preble, Cushing, WI; granddaughter, Emilee Mae Preble, Cushing, WI; sister, Jeanne (Bruce) Nierad, Oakdale, MN; sister-in-law, Carol Jean (William) Bohrer, South St. Paul, MN; brother-in-law, Dennis (Sandy) Preble, Auburn, KY; brother-in-law, James Preble, South St. Paul, MN; brother-in-law, Larry (Sheryl) Preble, Faribault, MN; brother-in-law, Rodger Preble, Red Wing, MN; sister-in-law, Shelley Preble, Rochester, MN; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Ruthie-jane, brother, Lance Anderson and sister-in-law, Stephanie Preble.
Services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Balsam Lake on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. Lyn’s family will greet guests at the church on Friday, August 19, 2016, from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. and again at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Faith Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.
The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
