Marie Arlene Aguilar

Marie Arlene Aguilar, 77, of Amery, Wisconsin, and formerly of Frederic, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Willow Ridge in Amery, Wisconsin.

Marie was born to Fred and Marian (Olson) Marek on August 10, 1946, in Frederic, Wisconsin.

Marie was very artistic and was an avid painter, creating many beautiful pieces of artwork. She loved enjoying the outdoors and nature, especially in Duluth, MN, or when traveling to Colorado.  You could also find her watching the storms roll through on her back porch. Marie enjoyed watching movies and spending time with her family as well. She will be dearly missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Marian Marek, brother, Rodney Marek, and nephew, Jim Marek.

Marie is survived by her children, Missy Lindquist, Mary Aguilar, Mike Aguilar, Robert Aguilar, and Josie Mercado, grandchildren, DJ Lindquist, Nick Lindquist, Cain Lindquist, and Bohdi Kult, siblings, Joanne Marek, Mike Marek, Carol Marek, Paul Marek, Randy Marek, Donnie Marek, and Bob Marek, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home at Noon. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
