Marlin Julius Bakken, 66, of Centuria, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 1014 at the V.A. Hospital in Minneapolis.
Marlin leaves to celebrate his memory: Father, Reuben (Lorraine) Bakken, Wife, Judy Bakken, children: Donna (Ron) Hoff, Marilin Bakken II, Jenni Winch, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, brothers, Roger Bakken, Mother-in-law, Betty Wilkenson and other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eileen, brother, Richard Bakken and wife, Elizabeth Bakken.
The funeral service for Marlin will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the United Covenant Church in Clear Lake, Wisconsin. The family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service. The family would like to invite their guests to join them for lunch and fellowship following the service. Marlin will be laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
