Marlin Eugene Snyder

Marlin Eugene Snyder, 89, of Centuria, Wisconsin, died on May 30, 2024, at the Amery Memory Care/

Marlin was born on February 24, 1935, to Leslie and Lillian (Brunsvold) Snyder in Mason City, Iowa.

Marlin graduated from Central Lutheran Theological Seminary in Fremont, Nebraska.  He was ordained as a Lutheran Minister in May of 1962.  He served congregations in Nebraska, Upper Michigan, North Dakota, Kansas, and Iowa.

He married Mary Gretchen Dallenbach on June 22, 1974, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Gretchen of Centuria, daughters, Cindy Snyder of Fort Dodge, Iowa and Shelly Mitchell of Lacona, Iowa, eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and son, Philip Marlin Snyder.

A Memorial Service will be held on July 26, at 11:00 AM with a visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service at Joy Lutheran Church.  Pastor Angie Kutney will officiate.  He will be laid to rest at Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City, Iowa.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
