Nancy Rae (Olson) Kamish

Nancy Rae Kamish, 69, of Milltown, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021, at her home with her family at her side.  Nancy Rae Olson was born on September 9, 1952, in Frederic, Wisconsin the daughter of Rueben and Laverne (Daeffler) Olson.

Nancy graduated from Unity High School and then went on to Chippewa Valley Technical College where she earned an Associate Degree.  She married Donald Kamish on September 16, 1972, and they made their home in Centuria where they raised their two sons Matt and Mark.

She was employed at Kroy Incorporated in St. Croix Falls for 17 years and then she was employed at Market Graphics in Osceola until she retired.

She enjoyed camping, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, weekend trips, and traveling with her family and friends.  She loved going to her children’s and her grandchildren’s sporting events, school programs, and concerts.  She was a loving and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be truly missed.

Nancy leaves to celebrate her memory: her mother, Laverne Olson, Luck, WI; her husband, Don Kamish, Milltown, her sons, Matt (Erica) Kamish, New Richmond, WI; and Mark (Tennille) Kamish, Milltown, WI; her grandchildren: Luke Kamish, New Richmond, WI; Madison Kamish, New Richmond, WI; Kennedy Olson, Minneapolis, MN; Hunter Olson, Fox Creek, WI; Roen Aronson, Milltown, WI; Jordan Kamish, Milltown, WI; and  Kira Kamish, Milltown, WI; siblings: Judy (Lannie) Ross, Rock Creek, MN; Carol (Biran) McBroom, Siren, WI; Mary (Ron) Marlette, Milltown, WI; and Marcia (John) McKenzie, Tomahawk, WI; many nieces, nephew, and other family and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her father, Rueben Olson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Joy Lutheran Church in Centuria on Monday, December 13, 2021, at 1:00 P.M.  Nancy’s family will greet visitors at the church beginning at 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M.  She will be laid to rest at St. John’s Cemetery, Centuria at a later date.
