Oryn "Ray" Harth

Oryn “Ray” Harth, 76, of Balsam Lake, Wisconsin passed away on July 5th, 2021 at his home. He was born on October 27, 1944 to Helen (Schurman) and Norbert Frank Harth in Alexandria, Minnesota.

Ray was a barber in Golden Valley, Minnesota for 38 years. He loved the water and boating. He had many boats, from 15’ to 32’, getting 2-foot-itis when it came to upgrading them. Ray enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served from October of 1963 to July of 1967 when he was honorably discharged.

Ray is survived by: his loving wife, Gloria Harth, Balsam Lake, WI; son, Chad (Amy), Elk River, MN; daughter-in-law, Melissa Harth, Buffalo, MN; grandchildren, Levi Harth, Mason Harth, and Matthew Harth; sister, Kathy (Gary) Stoltz, Owatonna MN; brother-in-law, Dale Schunke, Tucson, Arizona; as well as many other family and friends.

Ray is preceded in death by: his parents, Norbert and Helen Harth; son, Ryan Harth; sister-in-law, Ruth Schunke, and in-laws, Oscar and Edith Schunke.

There will be a private family service held.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
