Patricia Lou Bender, 72, of Centuria, Wisconsin passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015 at the Golden Age Manor Nursing Home in Amery with her loving family at her side. Patricia was born on August 6, 1943 in Oakland, CA the daughter of Elizabeth and Peter Volk.
Patricia leaves to celebrate her memory: children, Mike J. Bender, Minneapolis, MN; Raymond A. Bender, Minneapolis, MN; Leisha Rae (Laverne) McKenzie, Centuria, WI; grandchildren: Brant (Jasmina) Bender, Garrett Bender, Trent McKenzie, Seth (Ashlee) McKenzie, Renae (Jesse) Turner and her great grandson, John Raymond Turner, also her siblings: Carlene Colburn, Janice Menge, Linda Morrell, Kirk Volk, Mary Piper, Bonnie Burch and other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Peter Volk and her husband Raymond Bender.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria. Pastor Mel Rau will officiate.
Patricia’s family will greet visitors at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday.
