Patricia Ann Williams

Patricia (Pat) Ann Williams, 86, of Balsam Lake, WI passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at Christian Community Home in Osceola, WI. She was born in Minneapolis, MN on October 8, 1935, the daughter of John and Lolla Kaselnak.

Pat grew up in Minneapolis. She married Paul Williams in August 1954. They were blessed with five children and later, 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She moved to Luck, WI in 1976, then by the North Valley Church in 1979, and finally to Balsam Lake in 2005. She loved the views of Balsam Lake from her front porch.

Pat was very active in her community her in Wisconsin serving on many boards. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, past parish council member, past president of CCW, past SW Deanery President, and past Diocese president. She held offices of secretary and treasurer for the parish CCW. She also served on the funeral and parish festival committee at the church.

She volunteered at Loaves and Fishes food pantry in Luck, served as president of Balsam Lake Library Board, president of Friends of the Balsam Lake Library, was a member of Red Hat Ladies of Amery, represented Catholic Charities of Polk County Board for dispersal of government funds for food pantries, shelters for abuse victims and persons re-entering community living, and served on Board for Balsam Lake Farmers Market.

Her true passion was spending time with her family. She loved her annual girls’ weekends with her daughters and granddaughters. She also looked forward to the annual winter family getaway in northern Wisconsin.

Left to mourn her are her children, David (Cathy) Williams, Susan (Richard) Krenz, Steven (Laura) Williams and Kathryn (Mark) Hoen; grandchildren, Heather Williams, Blake (Emily) Williams, Michael Williams, Angie Krenz (Brian Prochaska), Stacy (Bill) Quist, Josh (Britt) Williams, Cory (Tracy) Williams, Erin (Tyler) Wirth, Vicki (Henry) Studtmann, Larry (Tanya) Hoen, and Chrissy (Chris) Winkler; great-grandchildren, Addison, Jet, Etta, Mackenna, Emma, Caleb, Kyla, Owen, Nora, Isaac, Decker, Quinn, Brant, Carly, Camryn, Eleanor, and Croix; brother, Richard (Mary Ann) Kaselnak; sister-in-law, Dianne Kaselnak; daughter-in-law, Marion Williams; brothers-in-law, Richard (Dee) Williams and Ronald (Doddie) Williams; and many other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lolla Kaselnak; her husband, Paul Williams; son, Mark Williams; grandson, Scott Krenz, and brother, LeRoy (Joe) Kaselnak.

Pallbearers/Honorary Pallbearers are her granddaughters, Angie Krenz, Heather Williams, Vicki, Studtmann, Stacy Quist, Chrissy Winkler, Erin Wirth, Tanya Hoen, Britt Williams, Tracy Williams, and Emily Williams.

Mass of Christian burial will be at Our Lady of The Lakes Catholic Church in Balsam Lake, WI on Monday, August 1, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. with a visitation one hour prior to service. Pat will be laid to rest at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Centuria, Wisconsin. There will be a lunch following the burial at the church.  Pallbearers will be Granddaughters, Angie Krenz, Heather Williams, Vicki Studtmann, Stacy Quist, Chrissy Winkler, and Erin Wirth.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Tonya Hoen, Britt Williams, Tracy Williams and Emily Williams.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be given to Loaves and Fishes, Interfaith Caregivers, and Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
