Pauline Cottrell

Pauline E. Cottrell, 95, of Lakeville, MN (formerly St. Croix Falls, WI), passed away peacefully on May 18, 2024.

Pauline was born on April 29, 1929, in St. Paul, MN, to Elmer and Grace (Cutler) Kelsay.  She later moved to Mora, MN where she met the love of her life, Pat (Leo) Cottrell. They were married on September 27, 1947.  They were blessed with three children:  Rick, Sherry and Kathy.  Pauline loved traveling, dancing, sewing, crocheting and cooking.  She had the most contagious laugh and loved telling stories.  She was very proud of her family and loved everyone so much!

Pauline is survived by her children, Rick (Mary) Cottrell, Sherry (Leroy) Voight and Kathy (Chris) Mogen; her grandchildren, Gustavo (Becky) Buitron, Kim (Chris) Uttech, Michael (Amy) Cottrell, Amy (Russ) Miller, Rene (Beth) Cottrell, Jesse (Alicia) Voight, Travis (Michelle) Voight, Katie (Chris) Walsh, Michelle (Matt) Grabow, Brandon Pekel, Crystal Lescault, Lindsay (Dave) Brindise and Cory (Megan) Mogen; 35 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren; her sister Dottie Wilcoxen; her brother Butch (June) Kelsay; and many nieces and nephews.  Pauline was welcomed into heaven by her beloved husband, Pat Cottrell; granddaughters, Becky Buitron and Kristy Cottrell; her parents, Elmer and Grace Kelsay; and her sisters, Martha McKee and Alice Chadwick.

Pauline was loved by so many and will be greatly missed, but we find comfort knowing she is reunited with family and friends in heaven.

A celebration of life will take place on June 30, 2024, at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Dresser, WI, with a visitation starting at 2:00 PM, followed by a service at 3:00 PM. There will be a luncheon following the service.
