Richard Roy Antonson

Richard Roy Antonson, 60, passed away at his home in the Village of Luck, Wisconsin on Monday, February 12, 2024.  Richard was born on December 26, 1963, in Duluth, Minnesota, the son of Roy and Marian (Erickson) Antonson. They resided in Duluth until Rick was in 4th grade then his parents moved him and his siblings; Laurie, Tim, and Jill to Centuria, WI.

Rick attended Unity Schools graduating in the class of 1982. After graduation, he worked at a grocery store in Centuria before he joined his brother and father in the flooring installation business for a number of years.  He went on to work at a variety of hardware stores in the area working 17 years at Clear Lake True Value also putting in many hours installing flooring.

In 1990, he welcomed his daughter Jessica Lynn with his wife Amy Jacobson.

He married Patricia Levinski, and in 1996 they had their son Eric Timothy.

In his later years he married Jodi Wheeler and gained four bonus children, Bailey, Amber, Dakota, and Coltin.

He was blessed with thirteen grandchildren.

Rick spent many happy hours with family and friends, fishing and being outdoors, especially on Leech Lake at his cousin's resort. He also enjoyed bowling in a league and spending time at Mckenzie Lanes.

Rick will be remembered for his generosity and his awesome dance moves.

Richard leaves to cherish his memory: son, Eric (Jenna) Antonson, St. Croix Falls, WI; daughter, Jessica (Joe) Kueppers, Lino Lakes, MN; step-children, Bailey Adams (David), Harris, MN; Amber (Matt) Barney, Clear, Lake, WI; Dakota (Ashley) Wheeler, Milltown, WI; Coltin Anderson, Rochester, MN; and Jason Adams, Luck, WI; grandchildren, Conrad Antonson, Colton and Cade Kueppers, step-grandchildren, Paige, Mkenna, Landen, Greysen, Annabelle, Avery, Chevi, Danika, Evelyn and Jolyn, his sister, Laurie and her husband Don Ellefson, St. Croix Falls, WI; many other family and friends.  Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Marian, siblings, Tim and Jill, and his wife, Patricia Antonson.

A Celebration of Life for Richard will be held at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria, Wisconsin on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 3:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M.  Richard will be laid to rest at the Fristad Cemetery in Centuria at a later date.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes Association.
