Roald T. Johnson

Roald T. Johnson, 86 of Milltown, passed away at the United Pioneer Home in Luck, Wisconsin.  on Sunday, May 6, 2018.  Roald was born in Luck, Wisconsin on May 15, 1931 the son of Reynold and Selma (Severson) Johnson.

Roald leaves to celebrate his memory: daughter, Sharon (Steve) Jorgenson, Luck, WI; son, Wayne (Kristi) Johnson, Milltown, WI; daughter-in-law, Debbie Johnson, St. Croix Falls, WI; brother, Roger (Connie) Johnson, Centuria, WI; brothers-in-law, David (Sandy) Halvorson, Duane (Jean) Halvorson, Jerry Halvorson, sister-in-law, Alice Kleven, grandchildren, Thomas, Bryan, Michael (Sabrina), Kayla Johnson, Derek Jorgenson, Shauna (Max) Musial, April Johnson and Beth Johnson, great-grandchildren, Emma Johnson, Brooklyn Johnson, Abigail Johnson and Preston Thibault, many nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Reynold and Selma (Severson) Johnson, infant sister, Joan Johnson, wife, Elaine Johnson, son, Larry Johnson, great granddaughter, Tiffany Johnson, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Lillian Halvorson, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Roger and Judy Halvorson, Donna Kounkel, Merle and Georgine Burrows.

The funeral service for Roald will be held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Eureka Baptist Church with Pastor Seth Brickley officiating.  Visitation will be on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria and again on Friday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.  He will be laid to rest at North Valley Cemetery with full military honors following the funeral service.

Pallbearers will be Derek Jorgenson, Bryan Johnson, Thomas Johnson, Earl Ericksen, David Halvorson and Steve Jorgenson.  Honorary Pallbearer will be Special Friend, Chuck Beals.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
