Rodney R. Egge Sr.

Rodney R Egge Sr, 72, of Frederic, Wisconsin, passed away on October 19th, 2016, after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the Frederic Care Center. Rodney was born in Frederic, Wisconsin on May 30th, 1944, to Stanley and Violet Egge.

Rod was well known for his mechanical ability to fix vehicles. He also loved working on small engines (lawn mowers and boat engines), building birdhouses and other things with wood, watching the Green Bay Packers, and fishing with family and friends.

Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Violet Egge and his brothers, Roger Egge and Richard Egge.

Rodney Egge Sr. is survived by his Significant Other, Diane Rudesill of Frederic and her son, David (Randi) Rudesill and Diane’s grandchildren, Cameron, Sommar and Anthony; Rodney’s children, Carmen Polejweski of Detroit Lakes, MN; Susie Egge of Detroit Lakes, MN; Rodney (Lori) Egge of Osceola, WI; Shane (Jackie) Egge of Milltown, WI; Jeff and Joe Egge of Lindstrom, MN.  He will be missed by his grandchildren Nicholas, Blake, Mitchell, Andrea, Sophia, Iva and Star, siblings, Ronald (Beth), Sheldon, Steve (Mary), Randy (Frances) and Susan and by many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 24, 2016 from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. with at Celebration of Life/Time of Sharing at 7:00 P.M. at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria.
