Rosette Delores Palmer, 88, of Balsam Lake, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at St. Croix Health and Hospital in St. Croix Falls, WI.
Rosette Coen was born on February 20, 1934, in Polk County, Wisconsin the daughter of Charles and Louise (Stromski) Coen.
Rosette was a generous, devout, forgiving, and caring person who devoted her life to God and her family.
She was an active church member, Sunday school teacher, and Bible study leader and enjoyed sharing her faith through her love of music and her beautiful voice.
She loved family gatherings and enjoyed being one of the aunts who created feasts for frequent gatherings. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were a source of great joy, and she especially loved playing card games with them. Throughout her life she was an avid crafter, especially enjoying sewing, crocheting, and needlework. She also enjoyed reading, gardening, and taking care of her pets.
She leaves to celebrate her memory, her children, Lonny (Constance) Palmer, Scott (Robin) Palmer, Rebecca Palmer, Barry (Lori) Palmer, and Brenda (Greg) Lindusky, 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, siblings, Phillip (Delita) Cohen and Carol Pomerleau. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Louise, her husband Gordon in 2019 and her sister Vera (Coen) Waterman.
A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 12:30 PM at the Apple River Community Church, Amery, Wisconsin with Pastor Justin Hosking officiating. Rosette will be laid to rest at the Balsam Lake Cemetery.
