Scott M. Lunsmann, 67, of Milltown, Wisconsin passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from cancer with his loving family at his side.  Scott was born on March 17, 1950 in River Falls, Wisconsin the son of Morris and Jeanette (Olson) Lunsmann.

Scott attended and graduated from Unity High School and also attended school in Rice Lake for accounting.  Scott married LaVonne Austinson on November 16, 1974.  Scott, LaVonne and his family lived in the twin cities until they moved to Centuria when the children were young until he built his home in Milltown.

He worked sewer and water for awhile but ended up doing construction and concrete work and later started his own business.  Scott also built and owned a tavern for awhile.

He enjoyed playing softball and was on pool teams. One of his favorite enjoyments besides spending time with his grandchildren was traveling around the states.  One of his favorite trips was when he went to Germany.  He also enjoyed traveling to Mexico which he and LaVonne did for many years and spending the winters in the warmth of Mexico with many friends he made over the years.

Scott leaves to celebrate his memory: his wife LaVonne Lunsmann, Milltown, WI; children, Chad Lunsmann, Chicago, IL; Jeremiah (Kari) Lunsmann, Centuria, WI and Autumn (Ryan) Hyden, Milltown, WI; grandchildren, Jonathan, David, Amelia, Mason, Dakota and Ashley, sister, Penny (Jerry) Neely, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family and friends.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Jeanette Lunsmann and his brother Jeffrey Lunsman.

Scott’s family will be greeting visitors at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria on Monday, October 6, 2017 from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
