Diane Evelyn (Wickstrom) Sapp

It is with great sadness that the family of Diane Sapp announces her passing after a hard-fought battle with breast cancer on Sunday, June 24th, 2018 at the age of 76.

Diane will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Barb Arens, her sister Phyliss Nelson, and her step-children, Peggy, Mike, Tom, and Steve Sapp. She will also be greatly missed by her grandson Jalen Arens and his wife, Summer.

Diane was predeceased by her parents Evelyn & Elmer Wickstrom, and her loving husband of 41 years, Roger Sapp on March 16, 2018.

Diane was born on March 25, 1944 to Evelyn & Elmer Wickstrom. She graduated Suma Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota and went on to have a successful career practicing Law, including time spent in the JAG unit of the Army National Guard, as well as practicing in the U.S. Federal Court.

Throughout her life she was a tireless animal lover who rescued countless abused, injured, or abandoned animals. Diane’s passion was helping anyone or anything in need.

Grave side services for both Diane and Roger will be held at the Milltown Cemetery on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 2:00 P.M.  Pastor Maggie Isaacson will officiate.  Military Honors will be accorded following the services by the Milltown V.F.W. and the Wisconsin State Military Honors Team.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home of Centuria has been entrusted with arrangements.
