Ronald R. Egge

Ronald R. Egge, 76, of Eureka Township, passed away on Monday, January 09, 2017 at the St. Croix Regional Medical Center with his loving family at his side.  Ronald was born on January 19, 1940 in Frederic, Wisconsin the son of Stanley and Violet (Ericksen) Egge.

Ronald worked in many different positions and places in the steel industry including, WI, MN and MI. He was a licensed master welder and a 36 year member of the Millwrights Union Local 548.

Ron married Beth Erickson on September 18, 1985. They owned and operated a campground in Taylors Falls, MN. Ron retired in 2001. He enjoyed restoring antique gas engines, creating many crafts-furniture to fine jewelry. He was interviewed and featured in local papers for his restoration of gas engines.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Beth Egge of Centuria, WI. Son, James (Anna) Egge, Stacy, MN; grandchildren, Stephanie, Jennifer and Marshall, step-children, David (Kerrie) Erickson, Frederic, WI; Tim (Vickie) Erickson, Centuria, WI; step-grandchildren, Jonathan, Shannan, Jacob, Austin, Billie Jo, Taylor and Holden. Siblings, Randy (Frances) Egge, Huntsville, AR; Sheldon Egge, Turtle Lake, WI; Susan Gund, Gaylord, MN; Steven (Mary Linn) Egge, St. Cloud, MN. In-Laws, Brenda Egge, New Albany, IN; Diane Rudesill, Frederic, WI; Bert Egge, Lino Lakes, MN and many other family and friends.  Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Violet Egge, stepson, Richard Erickson and his brothers, Roger, Richard and Rodney Egge.

The funeral service for Ronald will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the North Valley Lutheran Church.  Visitation will begin at 9:30 A.M. at the church and continue until the time of service. Please join the family for lunch and continued fellowship in the church basement following the service.

Casket bearers will be John Kittleson, Brian Lang, Ben Lang, Mike Rowen, Roger Seegar and Dave Hinchberger.
