Thomas Mathew Green

Thomas Mathew Green, 68, of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014 in Burnett County, Wisconsin.  Tom was born on November 17, 1945 in St. Paul, Minnesota the son of Frank and Christine (Polries) Green.

Tom enlisted in the United States Navy in October of 1965 and served his country until October of 1971.  Tom was a local businessman; owner and operator of Tom Green Masonry in St. Croix Falls for many years.  Tom loved being in the outdoors and was an avid hunter.  He loved being with his family and his friends.

Tom leaves to celebrate his memory: wife, Cashie Green, St. Croix Falls, WI; children: Christie (Trevor) Dougherty, San Diego, CA; Matt (Meredith) Green, Alexandria, MN; Stephen (Shannon) Nickelson, Minneapolis, MN; Jason (Jessica) Nickelson, Mendota, MN; grandchildren: Max and Ava Dougherty, Jos, Kai, Anna, Ellie and Chase Nickelson, brother Frank Green, North Branch, MN; and other loving family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Christine Green and grandson, Braden Green.

Tom’s family will be greeting visitors at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria on Thursday from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M.  He will be laid to rest at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner.
